Microneedling
Medical-Grade Collagen Induction Therapy
Microneedling is a results-driven treatment designed to improve skin texture, tone, acne scarring, fine lines, and overall skin health by stimulating the skin’s natural repair process.
At Oliva Aesthetics, microneedling is performed exclusively using SkinPen, the first FDA-cleared microneedling device and the gold standard in professional collagen induction therapy.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin using ultra-fine, medical-grade needles. These microchannels stimulate collagen and elastin production while enhancing the skin’s ability to repair, regenerate, and renew itself.
Over time, this results in:
-
Improved skin texture and tone
-
Reduction in acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks
-
Softening of fine lines and wrinkles
-
Strengthened skin barrier and resilience
Why SkinPen®?
Not all microneedling devices are created equal. SkinPen® is considered the gold standard due to its precision, safety, and clinical validation.
SkinPen® Benefits:
✔ FDA-cleared with over 90 FDA clearances
✔ Health Canada approved
✔ Creates up to 3 million microchannels in a 30-minute treatment
✔ Fully sterile, single-use needle cartridges
✔ Precise, adjustable depth for customized treatments
✔ Minimal trauma with maximum results
SkinPen® is engineered to deliver consistent, controlled results while maintaining the highest level of safety — something at-home devices and unregulated pens cannot offer.
What Makes Our Microneedling Different
Safety is the foundation of every microneedling treatment performed.
Only SkinPen-approved sterile solutions are used during treatment. Products not specifically designed for microneedling are never introduced into the skin. This significantly reduces the risk of complications such as irritation, infection, or granuloma formation.
Every treatment is customized based on:
-
Skin condition and concern
-
Skin thickness and sensitivity
-
Treatment area
